PRIVACY POLICY
One Shot is built to collect nothing about you. There are no accounts, no tracking, no analytics services, and no advertising. Your game data lives on your device and is never sent to us, because we do not operate a server that receives it.
Who we are
One Shot is developed by Reuben Schultz (RS Digital), a sole trader based in Australia. If you have any questions about this policy or your privacy, contact us at support@playoneshot.app.
What we collect
Nothing personal. One Shot does not ask for your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. We do not create accounts and we do not identify you.
What stays on your device
The game keeps your progress on your device only, so it can show your streak, best score, and daily result. This includes your daily scores, streak, and personal-best figures; your run history for the current day (tap outcomes and timing), used to draw your result and share card; and anonymous, on-device counts of in-app actions (for example, how often a result is copied or shared), used only to improve the app. These counts stay on your device and are never transmitted.
All of this is stored locally on your iPhone. Deleting the app removes it. None of it is sent to us or to any third party.
Game Center
If you choose to use leaderboards, One Shot uses Apple’s Game Center. When you submit a score to a leaderboard, that score is handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy, not by us. Game Center is optional; the game is fully playable without it, and we never receive your Game Center identity.
Sharing your result
When you tap Share, the app creates an image or a text summary of your result — a score, a streak, and a spoiler-free grid of your tap outcomes — and hands it to the app you choose (such as Messages, Instagram, Snapchat, or X). This only happens when you initiate it, and what is shared contains no personal information. Shared links point to playoneshot.app so others can find the game. Once content leaves One Shot for another app, that app’s own privacy policy applies to it.
Children
One Shot does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. Because we collect no personal data at all, the app is safe for players of all ages to use without sharing anything about themselves.
No tracking or advertising
One Shot contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, and no cross-app tracking. We do not use the Advertising Identifier and we do not build a profile of you.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this page and revise the date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
